In 1994, I began my career as an Account Executive for a Charlottesville radio group. I spent 8 years in Charlottesville broadcast media, and worked my way to a National Sales Manager’s position for Clear Channel Radio (Now iHeartRadio). Wanting a more creative pursuit, I began as an In-Home Designer for Calico Home in 2002. There, I designed custom soft furnishings for clients until my son was born in 2007. I decided to stay home with my sweet bundle full-time. My precious daughter was born 18 months later. After staying home with our children for the last 12 years and homeschooling them for the last six, I’m excited to start my second act as a marketing director and recently licensed insurance agent. When I’m not busy working on new marketing strategies for the agency, I’m usually running my middle schoolers to one of their many after-school activities, or making sure our home is running smoothly. I love spending time in, or on, the water. I live for each summer when you can find us on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay watching dolphins feed or throwing a cast net at shrimp. I’m most happy when I’m spending time with my family or organizing our next travel adventure. I’m so proud of my husband, our agency, and all of our amazing employees. Each one of us shares a common goal to “always do what’s best for our clients”. It’s not just our motto, it’s really how we do business.
